Research & Ideation
The form of the cogs and fitting typography were researched. Colors were explored but denied by the customer.
Design
The logo's text was carefully implemented and the icon animated by hand with CSS and a calculator (See the animation below).
Logo Design & Animation
A geometric typeface was chosen for the logo text, so it fits to the very clean "ee" design. The "e"s were constructed as perfect circles to form the correct center for the gears. The gears were constructed with the golden ratio in mind and animated with CSS.
